Springfield Armoury 1908 bayonet in m1910 scabbard with canvas cover

The M1905 bayonet fits the 1903 Springfield rifle, it was also used on the M1 Garand rifle. The M1905 has a 16" blade, and an overall length of 20 1/2"; with wooden grips; although sometimes found refitted with plastic grips. Produced by Springfield Armory (SA) & Rock Island Armory (RIA) from 1905 to1922.

US and british models are almost identical. British one did not have the lip around the lid, and has a hole where the American rivet is.
