MK3 MOD0 NAVY COMBAT KNIFE
US Navy / US Seals combat knife. Design work began in 1980, final specifications in 1982, production by Ontario Knife began in 1983. Ontario Knife Company (CAGE 2V376) has been the only maker. MNSN: 1095-00-391-1056
The swept point was a problem due to the tip breaking off, specifications changed in 1994 to a straight clip point (false edge a straight line instead of curved) although production of the new point shape did not actually begin until 2001.
This knife was seen often in scifi-series Stargate.
