German 98k bayonet M/1884-98, cof 1942 in cof 1942 scabbard with U.S. type belt hook. There are a number of 98k bayonets with an American belt hook soldered to the original scabbard.
Another modification made in the airforce, was to attach a belt hook to the original frog stud, thus carrying the bayonet with the frog stud inside. These had a Norwegian serial number stamped on both bayonet and scabbard.
