This is a rare dutch Hembrug made AR-10 bayonet. Only 1500 were made mostly for the Portugese army. A small lot stayed for testing in the Netherlands. From this amount of bayonets, a lot were lost in Angola and Mocambique. Most of the bayonets that stayed in the Netherlands were destroyed by the Dutch army because they adopted the Belgian FAL. I know the Dutch Navy has 50 of them in stock even at this moment, because some of these bayonets were used in New Guinee. It makes the amount of existing AR-10 bayonets far less than the 1500 made.
