M62 BASED COMBAT KNIVES AND PRESENTATION BAYONETS

Two variations:

1st Gen: Earliest version of Peltonen knife was hand assembled from Fiskars m62 bayonet parts (handles, blades, scabbards).

• 2nd Gen: Standard model with rubbery handles, straight marked blade and 3 or 4 rivet scabbard.

Standard J.P. Peltonen manufactured m62 Combat knife, often sold as RAUK memorabilia.

Basic Peltonen with Finnish State Lion on scabbard and text MP Puukko on blade.

MP probably means Maanpuolustus (National Defense) so this might be memorial or fund raising special edition knife.

m62 Combat knife with bright blade, no markings and black leather scabbard.

(I actually think blade was polished, J.P.Peltonen engraving is very shallow and easy to sand away.)

Marked Fiskars handle, logo ground off.

 Scabbard is official 4-rivet Peltonen.
